i have a 2060 with 6GB VRAM, ryzen 5 5600x and 32GB RAM, I can run the game 60fps 1080p with mostly medium settings. Don't get any crashes or stutters while exceeding the VRAM limit in the settings
maybe but do u really thinks its worth it

Maybe it will be possible to run it on a 6GB VRAM card one day. But we are at least a years worth of fixes away from that hypothetical point.

Dlss with 1080p

Legit potato settings, the ps3 original probably looks better than it does on your pc

Ps4 does native 1080p 60fps. This isn’t something to boast about

Depends heavily on the exact setup and - as Nvidia seems to have stated - particular issues with the RTX 30XX line. My game is running perfectly on High settings with less than 6k VRAM, on a 1660 Super (5,8k VRAM I think), an i7 8700k CPU, 16 GB-RAM and 1440p resolution. Whether it runs smoothly with a given or not is just super inconsistent.

i52500k 16gb and gtx1060 (6GB)

30 fps on 1080p with a mix of low medium and high settings.

Nope, I've seen the ps3 version and it doesn't look as beautiful as on my pc on High. I'm not even boasting, I just don't care about all your 4k Ultra supadupa babblings.

same 1050ti not getting 60 obviously 20 - 40 fps but does feel like 15- 20 not 100% sure why ,maybe to do with the mouse optimisation, although i could get 50 -60 fps on calisto protocal not steady 60 tho more like 50.

If you can tolerate 40fps on a pc you have the bar very very low

Who’s talking 4k? I have a 1080ti, i haven’t bothered upgrading my computer in 6 years because AAA gaming on pc is a joke. I can use my pc for jank or online games where I don’t care about settings. My rig still easily runs everything no issues at 1080p, no desire to upgrade, rather play AAA games on my PS5 where games actually work

I can guarantee your version runs and looks worse than the ps4 version which is a 10 year old console. The problem is you have the bar so low you allow yourself to accept absolute garbage ports like this

40-60fps is just bad, had no problem maxing out my 165hz monitor on a decent port like re4 remake at 1080p.
I wasn't talking about you specifically, I'm sorry if I conveyed that idea. I just don't expect a game designed for 8+ GB VRAM gpus to run on a gaming laptop with a 6 GB VRAM card like it would on a high end desktop machine. I don't own a PS5 nor a PS4 so I don't care about visual differences. I play games like this for their narrative and their attention to details, so if I enjoyed it (like I did) it should bother no one.

agreed
1080p with DLSS would make this game look worse than Tomb Raider 2013
strange that Nvidia decided to give the laptop 3060 only half as much VRAM as the desktop version but I guess they just want people to spend $5000 on a 16GB 4090 laptop :lunar2019laughingpig:

Honestly I'm not gonna pull my hair off cause in chaotic situations I get 40 fps. I read the recommended specs and I'm genuinely surprised that my system can run this game without ruining the experience for me.

In all fairness, DLSS just affects negatively the quality of water reflections and flashlights. I can live with that.
