If it would create the file, then yes, but it doesn't I don't even get the chance to say "Create New" or something. As soon as I click on the option, it exits the menu instantly.
Will check!
But that doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't I be able to ceate a seperate save file i.e for multiple playthroughs? The game (port) sucks at telling me what it did in the menu, haha!
that seems weird. you cleared the top floor and it did not want a new safe cause the autosave was right there? that should not happen. i created a bunch of safes across the whole game. some were just seconds apart from completion of chapters. it always created them. so... lemme check that one. i don't like to replay the hospital for testing, tho. hmm
edit: tested. you can create saves anywhere. the saved spawn location on the top floor is in the middle of the room thom not where i stood when i saved. i did not safe before you take them all out tho. i gotta redo that test? i could do it. got a safe 2 floors below, before you enter the west wing. 2 spike bombs and a shotty away from the stairwell up. yo
While you're trying to fix it, you can use the 'chapters' section to redo checkpoints.
Even save files throw you back to the beginning of their checkpoints. So that bit has to be re-done anyway.
My experience on the PC is diff. It will send you back to the last checkpoint.
You can't 'fine tune' the moment of your save.
