Reload Shaders Again?
Can't wait to watch my CPU almost burn out and die. i have to exit the game when the shader percentage gets to around 40% because my CPU is almost hitting 100c. i have a 10700k i7, water cooled.

Why does this game want to fry cpus?

Because the game engine utilizes AVX2 instruction set which puts a lot of stress into your CPU. Hence, make sure to have proper cooling system, otherwise tone down CPU core voltage and clock speed via BIOS to prevent CPU overheating during shader compilation.

You'll need to re-cache shaders again but it shouldn't be anywhere near as long as it would be after a driver update for example.

Incidentally there's a new NVIDIA update I haven't installed yet. Two birds with one stone I would say.

Yup I concur, If you're going to rebuild shaders from the update anyways, You may aswell throw in the driver update first, reboot then launch the game to rebuild shaders proper.

10600k on air max 85C at 100%. Something is up with your water cooling cause it obviously should cool your cpu under full load.....

Updated to the new 537.13 driver yesterday and did the shaders. Now after the update time to do them again. Twice in two days. :steamhappy:

all other games stay 65 or below. this is the only game that tries to destroy my cpu, lol.

Unfortunately, I also think that the water cooling of the op's seems to be inferior. unfortunately saved money at the wrong end.

R5 3600 overclocked to 4.3 GHz all core.

My CPU goes to ... 60C while processing shaders, full blast at 100%.

Y'all need better cooling. Or stop using crazy hot Intel CPUs, lmao.

tbf all the latest intels run crazy hot because of the core count and cpu frequencies.

Even my 9700K runs hot at times, I don't mean stupidly hot though, Right now under full load on shader rebuild it's currently running 54C under full load on air cooling.

GPU is sitting at low 70's.

it took me less than 30 second to rebuild the shared with my 5800x3d, you gonna be fine.

something is definitely wrong with your cooler.

FYI, If you are switching between apps when game is running, bringing another window to front will cause overall usage and temps to drop fast. As the resources than switch to AIDA64.

It is way better to do it in real time with RivaTuner OSD or the like. Which you can use AIDA as a plugin. Or have it open on a secondary screen and grabbing a SS of that.

the benefits of modern engines and api for gaming. everything runs like horse crap.

Water cooled and alrthough the cpu burns ? I recommend to fill in water into the cooler, because it's no air cooler.
