Incidentally there's a new NVIDIA update I haven't installed yet. Two birds with one stone I would say.
Yup I concur, If you're going to rebuild shaders from the update anyways, You may aswell throw in the driver update first, reboot then launch the game to rebuild shaders proper.
all other games stay 65 or below. this is the only game that tries to destroy my cpu, lol.
Unfortunately, I also think that the water cooling of the op's seems to be inferior. unfortunately saved money at the wrong end.
My CPU goes to ... 60C while processing shaders, full blast at 100%.
Y'all need better cooling. Or stop using crazy hot Intel CPUs, lmao.
tbf all the latest intels run crazy hot because of the core count and cpu frequencies.
Even my 9700K runs hot at times, I don't mean stupidly hot though, Right now under full load on shader rebuild it's currently running 54C under full load on air cooling.

GPU is sitting at low 70's.
FYI, If you are switching between apps when game is running, bringing another window to front will cause overall usage and temps to drop fast. As the resources than switch to AIDA64.
It is way better to do it in real time with RivaTuner OSD or the like. Which you can use AIDA as a plugin. Or have it open on a secondary screen and grabbing a SS of that.
