Sounds like a power/PSU issue.

There is a option in the game to control the RGB like the PS controller for ambient or effects, try disabling it.

I agree with the first post, that definitely sounds like a PSU issue, if you have an asus mobo it should be screaming about power surges

this game completely maxes out your cpu at the start because while its compiling shaders, i dunno how much its loading the gpu but i can imagine its pushing your pc into max load and your psu probably cant handle it

I tried that, because I had a similar issue - on every start of the game the rgb of my keyboard turn off - I have to go to the settings, turn the option on an off again, to reactivate my normal light settings

THIS IS SUCH A WEIRD ISSUE, the game runs fine on my 4070ti and i913900kf minus the controller bugs, i have a brand new EVGA SUPERNOVA 1200W P3 psu and i have same issue except in my case it shuts off just the ram and fan rgb every time i launch, i dont get it

but just those, everything else stays lit

Not disabling it, but it takes control of my keyboard's and cooler's RGB. On keyboard it changes it to brown, but on my CPU cooler it shuts it down.

its definitely not a build issue its the only game this does this lol i have a high end build (EVGA 3080,5800x3d, dominator ram 2 m.2s AIO cpu cooler), i think its something in the coding because ive pulled up all usages while running the game and everything is normalish higher than i expected but not to the point stuff should shut down, but ill look for the option and see if it fixes it, thanks guys!!

Yeah the game uses Razer Chroma for RGB affects, could just be some conflict with that.

In my experience the effects work fine with OpenRGB and Artemis Chroma Grabber-- I just turn off my usual RGB effect profile and turn on my Chroma profile. And yes as stated above there's a setting in-game to enable/disable the effects.

Nope I have 1000w psu & its fine, stop trying to scaremonger.
This game trips out my ICUE on boot.
The game has its own RGB profile but even when you disable it (LED Device effects in system settings) it still bugs out RGB software on game boot
Its a bug!
Not the first game nor the last game to have this.
To fix all I need to do is enable then disable the setting.

its the in game options its not a psu issue everyone has it unless you dont have any rgb in your system that doesnt mean it maxes everything goes beserk i have a strix Z690 E and it does thesame

Have you tried turn off 'game integrations' in ICue settings?
KensterDM Apr 19, 2023 @ 10:50pm
LOL you all trying to scare people that their PC are lacking, go to settings in game to system and turn off RGB, if you have a ICUE. the game keeps reseting to ON so in ICUE go to settings/software and games and switch off GAME INTEGRATION. it has nothing to do with lack of pc and every thing to do with settings ..... carry on

It's a bug with Icue isn't nothing to do with PSUs.

This is not an issue with your equipment. The game takes over the rgb to do its own ambient effects which can be switched off within the game options.
