performance on gtx 1080
so from the part when you're in the quarentine zone with tess to the part when you have your first gunfight with her, the average is about 50-60fps mainly high settings with some on medium (draw distance, and a few shadow settings) i say its pretty decent considering its a 7 year old card and this is a native PS5 game, its just the shader compiiling that ruins the performance (and yes i did wait like 50mins for it to do, but it still does it in the background) the rest of my specs are
the 5600g
16gb ram
2tb western digital NVME

Yeah i can get 1080p/60 on High settings with my 1080ti.
It can drop into the 50's in some of the rel time cutscenes but it usually stays at 60fps in gameplay.

Its about what i expected going into the game.

My problem with the game isnt performance related, its the controller support not working very well on some controllers, incl;uding my XSXcontroller.

Yup, I'm running a mix of medium and high and I'm getting an average 50 FPS at 1080p with a GTX 1080 and i7-7700. This card has been really fortunate for me over the years in games where there are widespread performance issues.

The game on these settings looks better than what some modern games look on ultra...

I think pascal cards at the 1070 / 1080 level were a steal. God I wish I never sold my 1080.
