Controller thumb-sticks dont work?

So my generic gamepad (which registers as an Xbox controller) isn't working. The thumb-sticks will stop randomly when trying to move the character or pan the camera. Most of the time, I get very little input. I tried my other controller which is wireless, and had the exact same issue. Anyone found any solutions?

A lot of people have this problem, myself included. No fix so far.
Its annoying as i bought a cheap EPIC key for the game, and cant even refund the game.
Hopefully a patch comes soon.

while i think the game needs an actual bit of optimisation by a company that knows what they are doing, i manged to get a decent frames, although it jumps around sharper than yoda when he fought dooku. could be playing if it wasn't for the damn controller issue. i refuse to play this game with keyboard and mouse.

Having the same issue here. Came here to find this exact thread. Maybe it will find its way into the next patch?
