Joel aiming constantly for no reason

A few crashes I can handle, but this glitch is driving me nuts. At some point while I'm playing Joel will start aiming for no reason, even though I'm not holding the aim trigger. I find when the glitch starts happening, if I use only the left stick to move, he won't aim. But once I use the right stick in combination that's where he will start constantly aiming even without me holding the left trigger. It is super annoying and has been an especially active problem in the Bill section.

This used to happen on PS4 on occasion and was just weird. It's crazy to me that this bug still exists and has carried over to PC and is way way way worse on PC. I'm using a wired Dualsense controller to play the game. Though not sure that matters since a lesser version of the aim glitch existed on PS4 as well, seems like some controller issue with their engine.

I'm hoping someone may have figured out some combination of controller presses or something else to make the glitch go away once it presents itself. The glitch even survives completely closing the game and then reloading my save. Which makes me a little worried the glitch is no baked into my save file in some way and will be happening more frequently.

I'm having the same issue I believe using a wired Dualsense controller also. Did you find a fix?

No, I haven't, did that fix the issue for you?

I never had the issue. I always turn off auto aim for games that have it. But its the simplest thing to try to mitigate the issue.

I've solved.
1. You need to delete the save game from the source file (you can find easily on a youtube tutorial) *Make a backup of your save, and put it on your desktop or anywhere else*
2. Start a new one
3. Play it for 5 minutes, then close
4. Paste your original save file from your backup in the source file
5. Open the game and play your save

It has worked for me!
