Yeah it's bloody ridiculous. 2023 and still nothing runs 4k max new titles in 120fps including 2k cards. It's a joke at this point. I bought my setup in 2020 (top back then) and seeing how things work I decided to not upgrade until there are cards that run CP2077 4k max with rt and everything 4k 240fps period. I don't care how long it will take them it's them fkn loosing money until they give me what I am prepared to pay for and nothing else I don't care.

The 4090 can run certain games at the resolution and fps. Based on how TLOU looks it shouldn't be out of the question for a 4080 or 4090 to be able to put out 120 fps at 4k. It's a great looking game but it's not the best optimized.

Use the frame gen (DLSS 3) mod, and 99% of the performance issues go away: https://www.patreon.com/posts/tlou-upscaler-fg-88262765

I'm using it with a 4090, and I'm getting well over 144 FPS at 4K with it.

It's not a free mod though, and the guy who does it mods in DLSS 2 and 3 support into a number of AAA games.

your brain is bloody ridiculous. you sound like an idiot. you have zero knowledge or comprehension of how demanding 4k is and totally f clueless how much power is actually needed when you start maxing games out with ray tracing and everything else as graphical fidelity keeps increasing more and more each year.

you're the ultimate noob. the 4090 was the greatest generational increase we could have ever hoped for and despite that, anyone already on 4k with a brain knew it's not gonna pull 120+ fps on every new game maxed out at 4k as games are going to continue to keep getting better and better and 240fps? go back to 1080p you oaf.
