15 Gb Vram to playy in Ultra?
I have a 3090 with 24go Vram, and apparently game uses in Ultra 15Go Vram in 2k resolution, this is the biggest Vram usage I saw on a game

Hogwarts was about the same, TLOU is actually using less VRAM then hagwarts did for me.

Ps3 and ps5 do not have such a high VRAM requirement. This is really, really bad bro.

Next generation of games. Some people don't seem to understand, that you won't be able to play recent games on a 3-5 year old hardware.

Yea, but turning down textures from ultra to high frees up like 5 gb of vram and I can't even see the difference btw 2 in terms of visual quality so I just turned it down to high and running it at 4k dlss quality, game is running pretty well btw 75-90 fps on 3080ti. Too bad that can't be said for most of the people that are having severe performance issues and crashes.

This gen is going to be VRAM heavy, the memory config on the consoles is not even comparable to PC.

I'm playing in 4k ultra with a 4080 and the game alone is using about 11GB of vram.

Do you not realize that hardware from 2-3 years ago is more powerful than the PS5/Series X? Before you come back with "potato pc", I am running it just fine thanks for asking. High/ultra locked to 60. A PC should last you just as long if not longer than a console life cycle (5-10 years at most), most people leaning more toward the short end. That is just clueless of you to say that.

I have also no issues on an I7 , rtx 3090 and 32 gb Ram, in Ultra 2k it runs fine around 80 fps average, but i just wanted to show how much Vram was needed for ultra ;-)

You do realize what the game reports isn't accurate right? The game is reporting about 1 GB more VRAM being used than what monitoring software reports. There are clear as day optimization issues, anyone saying otherwise is just plain stupid.

Lowering textures from ultra to high, the horror!

Is it just me or is there only like 2-3 settings I can see a difference between high/ultra. Some settings I can't even see a difference between medium/high. Some times even if there is a difference, it is minuscule as well. The main settings obviously make the big difference, but i don't see many worth toggling it to ultra for. I cant see a difference between medium/high/ultra for the visual effects texture quality setting for example. Not to mention there is a memory leak that Naughty Dog themselves know about and posted which makes VRAM usage higher. (https://feedback.naughtydog.com/hc/en-us/articles/14377887346452-Known-Issues)

Developer and the computer components industry is cooperating allot, they want you to pay stuff just to make the game run. I remember games like Tomb Raider 2013 and Metal Gear Solid V 2015 and many more, I don’t promote the games I just have it as example, these game look nice and well optimized and If I compare many new games today it really doesn’t look much better in terms of graphics and optimization. I don’t think it’s worth it to have a hi end computer that we paying allot for, just to play games with 0-10 % better graphics. I think this game is really good and I have not played it because I’m a pc user. Overall, this industry is too much fishy for my taste. I am sorry for my criticism but I hope I am title to have my opinion even if you agree or not.

My setup that I paid allot for is:

Os: Win 11.
MB: B450 msi gaming plus.
Ram: Ddr4 32gb 3200 mhz.
Cpu: Ryzen 5 5600.
Graphics: Rx 6600 xt.
Ssd: M.2 NVMe 1 tb.
Psu: Evga supernova 650w.

Nope, At least Hogwards legacy I can play high/ultra with 6gb vram with 80 fps without problem.
