Where are shaders actually stored for this game?
I checked c:\ProgramData but they're not there (That's where Uncharted and others put the shaders but not this game). Anyone know?

C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\NVIDIA If i am correct there, but I have it junction-thingy to my game-drive.

Unfortunately, I don't think that is correct. Deleting those files doesn't cause the game to recompile the shaders. (Which it normally should when you remove the compiled shaders)

I'm really puzzled where these are stored.

Ohh you want to recompile/reset.
Then you go to C:\Users\user\Saved Games\The Last of Us Part I
And delete the log

Interesting....it does appear that the shader cache files are in that place plus another. For some reason I can't delete them though.... odd.

Use Safemode. Those shaders are in use for Windows it self orso.

However, deleting those files didn't trigger a recompile so something is still "off"

Yeah that is very strange. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall and replace the oo2core_9_win64.dll with the Warframe version before restarting to see if it will recompile after that.

Never had this kind of difficulty locating and recreating the compiled shaders lol

Basically I just want them to recompile with the updated oo2core_9_win64.dll file that is supposedly buggy that shipped with the TLoU

Fun thing is that the 2.9.5, so the non-buggy one. Compiling took really long. Was playing 76 minutes, and still 23ish.. Then just removed the log, put the 2.9.6 back.. Went to the toilet. Poof compiled :D

The shader folder is the "psolibs" folder In the Main TLOU directory. If you delete that it will recompile.

Thats annoying - wish I could verify they actually recompiled.

I know if I did an Nvidia driver rollback, it would force a complete recompile, but I'd have to do a remove/replace of the drivers from Nvidia and thus lose all my other game profiles to go backward so I'm not wanting to do that step.
