Every single Negative review is...
purely due to potato issue. Look after your potato. The game works great and runs great. You can't expect your potato to last forever.

There is nothing wrong with the game. Great port.

Butthurt potato owners, feel free to leave your jester awards in frustration for not having something more insulting to leave instead. I will take your clowns.

Took me 2hrs to Build Shader on the first run.
Apart from that - it works great.

Why do you have a 4090?
You don't play ♥♥♥♥.

Stop buying cards with low VRAM amounts which Nvidia is famous for, and yes, some games are going to need premium cards but to give this game credit it's not the best optimized to put it mildly, but still that doesn't change the fact people throw their money at Nvidia and screamed at me on reddit a couple years back saying 10GB of VRAM was plenty. No, it wasn't.

I went from a 1080TI to a 4090, but I'd recommend any card with 16GB minimum, minus the 4080 which is overpriced. Think 7900XT for $799 with 20GB VRAM.

A 6600XT is not a card for high end gaming either, nor is a 3070TI, and the 4070TI will be in the same situation in 2 years with it's lackluster 12GB of VRAM. You should not even be buying 4060's or 4070's or any card with under 16GB if you are 1440P or higher.

I'm not here to make you feel bad about your card purchase, but to educate people to get them to consider something other than Nvidia. Knowledge is power.

people that think this game runs well just have really low standards

The funniest thing is, according to Steam graphs, Feb 2023:

4090 users: 0.31%
4080 users: 0.20%
4070TI users: 0.18%

Yet of course you find those guys here, telling you that you have a potato PC. Omegalul

wow, calling an i910900k and a 3080 a potato is simply dumb

Wrong, the port is a pos, i got an i5 13600k, 32gb, 3070ti, cache took 19 minutes thankfully but this port is catastrophic, so many issues, and it crashed in the first 2 minutes lmao, apart from that the vram necessities are incredibly high, how they managed to ruins this so bad is beyond me, they did a fantastic job with uncharted 4 on pc
