100°C / 219°F CPU
I have a 3080 ti, 32gb of RAM, i9 12900k processor. And just in the menu, the temperature of my processor reached 100ºC. What the hell is this? I lowered the screen resolution, graphics quality, and put it in a small window, and my processor still stayed at 100ºC/219 ºF. And before Sony's damn dog comes, I have liquid cooling. This game is definitely a scam.

what a joke!

ACT: With the new update (v1.0.1.6 Patch notes) the temperature of my CPU stopped going to 100 degrees, for the record of how bad a port this game was and that it could burn processors, and that it was fixed until its second fix

CG you just discovered that your i9 can pull up to 241W and more on some boards.
It's going to be hard to cool no matter of what.

Have you tested your system under full load in Cinebench or Prime95 AVX load ?

Troll post? I'm running 1080P High 60 on a 5700X and 3070, no obvious temperature madness. I could probably go back to 1440p even, I just had it at 1080p from before the 1.0.1.5 patch because it would sometimes get stuck in the low 10 FPS. Haven't had that issue since the patch.

It's not the games fault your cooling setup can't keep up

And 100% cpu usage? The game takes about 50-80% out of my i7 9700k....

putting aside the fact this game causes a cpu to utilize 100%, your pc should be able to handle working under max load without going anywhere near 100 degrees, if it cant that's not the games fault that your pc's fault. fix your pc's cooling issues, stop assigning issues that have nothing to do with the game to the the game.

Its compiling shaders, changing settings will do nothing. Also as mentioned its not the games fault you have sub-par cooling.

Wasting time - trying to help the ignorant on how hardware should run 100% load and be stable is futile - it's disturbing how many don;t even know how to do a proper stress test.
And you can see proof of the ignorance when they respond with "I can run X title for y hours with no issues" - and they say that thinking they are actually making a winning point, if only they knew..

FFS stop with this attacks , like seriously ... this is the olny game that reached 90ºC on may Cpu as well wen compiling shaders and isan't normal to do that.
Ryzen 5800x with 360 aio liquid cooling by asus. Stop attack players that are reporting this problem with temperature !!!! IS THE DAM GAME PROBLEM !!!!!

No its not, give prime95 a shot. You have a cooling issue.

Ohh AIO cooling - oh well then - no way it could be under cooling ... /s ignorance abound- if you ever did anything that actually pushed hardware - again, ignorance in spades - should be able to have 100% CPU - GPU load and not hit thermal limits nor be unstable - if either of those criteria fail - then so is the machine build.

So many fail at doing proper stress testing..sigh

A lot of modern CPU's are fine at 90 degC. If you think that's too high then get better cooling. If you think your cooling is fine then stop overclocking or start underclocking to reduce temperature.

Compiling shaders on my 3900X was one of the few times all 24 of my cores where consistently >90% in use and my temps barely got over 60 degC because my cooling IS good. I can throw any software at it and know it won't get that higher - ever.

TL;DR: If you have high temps it's always a hardware issue.

Even if the game pushes your CPU harder than other games your cooling should handle that better.

Looks like luck issue
I've seen a guy with 13700k who also had his cpu fully loaded

13700k here and it is only 100% while compiling shaders just like everyother CPU is. While playing i never see 100%

This game is a trash.

tell your pc that the only difference between try and triumph is just a little bit of umph
