Audio very quiet?
Is the audio really quiet for anyone else? Specifically the dialog? I dont usually have to have my headphones put to max levels, but even with dialog set to 100 volume I have trouble hearing the voices unless I have my headphone audio to max.

Same problem. I'm playing with a A/V receiver in Doldy Atmos & I've increase my receiver volume a lot (20 db) to hear something. Better not have a windows sound while playing >.<

Just turn off all windows sounds, i mean who needs them anyway.

Using a logitech G-Prox X headset with 7.1 settings and dont experience any audio issues.

Same problem, and I bought a new computer for this game's release. Still having same issues as everyone else, even with a top of the line rig.

I noticed plugging in the PS5 controller to the PC glitched out the sound pretty bad, I had to keep resetting the settings to default, over and over, and restarting my computer, finally went back to "normal", which is still very very low volume.

Definitly needs addressed in one of their many upcoming fixes.

The problem is people are selecting Audio settings that their hardware cannot handle. This game actually does what it says and separates the audio correctly.

Setting the speakers to Headphones and the Dynamic Range to Low should give you what you would expect from other games and your current hardware.

Its possible for some of these, but that wouldn't be why mine is so low. I have a top of the line gaming PC, spent thousands on it. Just using the game's default sound settings, I have to max out my speakers to hear anything. That isn't an incorrect setting, that's something else in the games code that needs tweeked.

It's the only game I've with this issue, so not a hardware problem. Setting Dynamic range to low doesn't solve anything.

I can hear Joel when he speaks but can't hear Ellie very well, I'm missing most of the conversations between them, which is a huge part of the game.

No, it does NOT WORK WITH SOUND CARDS PERIOD.

ONLY works with an HDMI sound connection, that is the LITERAL issue, and fanbois are ignoring it to defend this absolutely broken port.

Set your Output Device to HEADPHONES (even if you're not using headphones), Channel to STEREO 2.0, and the Dynamic Range to NARROW. That made my audio tolerable, not perfect but much better.
