Audio very quiet?

Is the audio really quiet for anyone else? Specifically the dialog? I dont usually have to have my headphones put to max levels, but even with dialog set to 100 volume I have trouble hearing the voices unless I have my headphone audio to max.

I can hear it over my surround sound unit but I have to really crank the volume. Discord dings are now jump scares.

Try to change to Headphnes in output device, sound settings, mine got a lot louder after that

The game has ONLY Stereo OR Mono unless you have 3D Audio headsets, enjoy the optimization.

Agree the same, like 30% of my rest game, in the game I have volume at 100%, all. Its unnormal. Pls fix it in the hotfix.

Set your Output Device to HEADPHONES (even if you're not using headphones), Channel to STEREO 2.0, and the Dynamic Range to NARROW. That made my audio tolerable, not perfect but much better.

I play the game with my DENON AVR-X1700H, in 7.1 and the volume is really low, usually i play at 45 or 47 volume level, but i have to crank it up to like 56 only in this game.

I set dynamic to MAX and well 7.1 and Home Cinema of course, i only use full spectrum speakers, i must say the sound is really really good. But it's weird having to crank it up so much.

Same problem, decided to go for Headphones instead of speakers and... the audio is cracking. You just can't win, ffs, how to fix this T_T

Same for my Anthem system. Have to really crank the volume to get the game to be loud.

I have the same problem of low sound that requires turning up the volume almost to max. This makes the game audible during play BUT if i get a sound effect like a gunshot suddenly the volume blasts at maximum and I have to turn the volume down fast! I am playing on speakers and have not yet tried the game on earbuds. I hope there will be a patch soon as I really like this game that I started to play today (29 March 2023).
