Apart from all other huge problems this one is my biggest just because its so easy to put ♥♥♥♥ like this to toggle.
Currently waiting for a toggle to this God awful decision and hoping either the devs or modding community drop a fix soon.
Yeah with being able to disable movie features like film grain it's surprising lens dirt is forced. I couldn't find anything in the config file for it either. Hoping for a mod or official toggle soon
repost:
open the remap.txt file in the game folder. (make a backup for safety)
find "44efafd386549f64 post1/lens-dirt.dds"
replace with "44efafd386549f64 post1/black.dds"
save remap.txt and reload the game.
I just tried this and it does in fact get rid of the LENS DIRT effect.
ULTRAWIDE monitor users need to change the lens-dirt-ultrawide.dds to black.dds to get rid of the lens dirt effect > I can confirm this works as I have a 3440x1440 monitor.
Now we just need a solution to DISABLE BLOOM and the game should be finally presentable.
