Low Dialogue Audio
Performance stuff aside (runs great for me), I am having low dialogue volume. My PC is at 16 bit, surround sound right now, and I have the audio range set to narrow, and it still is kind of low for me.

That was the first thing I noticed too!

It's the only game that has this problem and I can't find any solutions yet.

EDIT:
Setting it to HEADPHONES mode seems to help a little.

I actually put it to Headphones, yeah. It does make a noticeable difference, but still on the low end. Characters still sound a bit distant to me.

Make sure the dynamic range is set to medium or below.

I found that switching from pseudo-3D to plain stereo improved things a lot. (Then again, cheap headphones.)

Right but I was saying that in general for other people who may have the problem. Are you running any other audio software like an equalizer?

No, nothing of the sort. The only other thing that may interfere is my capture card that's hooked up to a PS5. But right now, I'm content with the audio, it's a big difference from when I booted the game up, so it works I guess.

Until a patch comes out addressing the issue (if ever)

Fair enough, I know Uncharted 4 had major audio issues for me very similar to what you're describing, and I'm especially picky about it since I use a pair of studio headphones. Not sure if it's an engine issue or what, but to my surprise, this game has no issues for me in the audio department. It's a shame if this problem remains for some people, because it is very annoying and ruins the game imo, one of the major reasons why I never finished Uncharted 4.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
