CPU USAGE

Game uses 100% CPU on an i7-13700k. Needs optimization.

The Minimum and Recommended Specs are false.

Also causes the CPU to run at 88-96c. No issues with Temp on any other titles. This is starting to look like a New World situation where the game may brick some CPUs.

You have fine CPU GPU optimization with high end rigs on other titles, people have to STFU with their troll comments this is a another bad example of a trash port

This is what I usually see with other games, esp. when capping FPS at 60. Single digits or low double. But this one is at 84-90% while capped at 60FPS.

so I don't know, but people with bad (CPU) coolers should not play this game - with me 4090 RTX, Core I9 10940X - the shaders were compiled "quickly" but the game uses only the CPU - besides I can't set the resolution to 5760x1080 (multi monitor) - the temperatures are quite moderate thanks to the water cooling on the CPU (but otherwise my CPU doesn't reach 65 degrees - in any game except in the stress test - and this game is one ! so be careful with bad CPU cooling - actually the game should not be offered in this condition !

Dude, that means, that the CPU is the limiting factor, which shouldn´t be the case in such a title + 100% CPU usage means stuttering. Grow a brain.

in game my 9900k sits at 5%-15% usage and heats up to around 49 degrees (delidded) with capped 60fps (after shader comp.). wait for shadear compilation to end (took me almost 90 minutes to 35% and 2 minutes later it was finished).

If you have a fast connection (300MBit+) just download after the game is released. For me it's faster than decompressing after preload (but I have to admit I am using 1000MBit)... PreLoad takes 15 Minutes, but decompressing takes another half an hour or so. Downloading after release with just unpacking takes 17 minutes at all...

You very likely are running into a VRAM-limit. Just lower every setting where it says HIGH in red letters next to the VRAM-usage in the settings menu. Should help with that.

My Ryzen 7 2700x is at 97 percent in the beginning of the game (my cpu fan a hair dryer), the game doesn't lag, but the performance of course is,,,,,,very good ;-))
