The truth of the matter is that PS5 has a lot of advantages over PC. Console gaming in general. Overall you are going to get better fidelity and quality sitting on your chair with a big 70 inch QLED versus the common PC gamers 1440p/1080p muh 100fps. Thinking about it, you get the best performance console with zero problems. Hassle free. 4k/HDR and all. Plus you can't beat gamepass and PSN+. Free games every month.
I am asking because my windows is already updated, thought it was obvious enough to not have to be stated in the original post.
The one and only advantages of consoles is that the hardware is unified, thats it. That makes it much easier to optimize games for them because you only have 1 hardware configuration to deal with and not thousands like it is with PC's and its in general a cheaper option.
Even this way they manage to screw it up. The Digital Foundry regularly tells us how this or that game works on consoles with erratic frame rates.
