This game is horribly optimized
Its really sad to say but this is a horrible pc port. I love this game so much. I have bought this game 3 different times already. I've bought this game on PS3, PS4, and third time on PS5. So its sad to say that this game is horribly optimized for pc. I'm running on RTX 4090 i9 13900k at 4K with DLSS on performance and the frame rate still dips below 60 FPS. RE4 remake at native 4K never dip below 120 FPS.

Hows the performance at 1080P?

Don't see many comments about that, and personally I don't care about gaming in 4K.

dlss performance at 4k is rendering the game at 1080p so what i just said.

very bad. I'd just wait for patches or an official statement addressing the matter.

I don't blame you. I love my 4K monitor, but I'd be lying if I said I don't experience diminishing returns simply for wanting my games to look better.

Did you let shaders compile? It takes a long time so probably not. Let it finish and the game will be fine.

4070 ti here and 100+ at 3440x1440p dlls quality, but sometimes It will use less GPU% and drop for some reason, even after shader building

The performance is worse when rendering it at native 4k or 1440p. this game is just a horrible port. Look at the dozens of threads saying the same thing.

3070 and R7 5800 here. Game runs butter smooth at high-ultra 1440p without dlss 60+ fps. with dlss its 100+

GUYS WAIT FOR THE SHADERS TO LOAD!!!!

Did you let shaders compile? It takes a long time so probably not. Let it finish and the game will be fine.

ps5 which is 2070 super equivalent runs it at 1440p at mostly 60fps. So either ultra settings are extremely demanding or it's a garbage port. Imma go with the latter

i did and its still a stutter fest with frames flying around everywhere

Origin release should have been 3rd of March. What have they done in the meantime, Vacation before the disaster begins ?

honestly, I just grabbed this a few weeks ago on PS5. I cant stand the dx 12 stutter we get in most titles these days :/

How can your game suck that much with that GPU when i do easily 60 min fps at 1440p, ultra settings and NO DLSS with a RTX 3080 and a worse CPU?!

I really think most highend PC gamers simply bought a prebuild rig, have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue how to use it or WHAT they bought ( ♥♥♥♥♥♥ slow memory maybe?! ) and are pretty mad now.
