Which one should I get?

Get both RE4 remake and TLOU Part 1. Both are excellent survival horror/action-shooter genre.

Want a long journey with lots of character development and meaningful story, pick The Last of Us.

Want a game with a decently plot and 'lots' of shooting action. Resident Evil 4.

Depends on the experience you want. Both are action games, but RE4 is all action where TLOU has a lot of atmosphere and story telling RE4 does not.

To put it into another frame of mind. If you wanted to watch a movie do you want to watch lord of the rings, or die hard? Take your pick!

Last of Us hands down. Resi 4 is great tho but the arena mob fights are just crap in the mid-late game. Last of Us is a great experience from start to finish with an amazing story.

if you can only afford one, it depends, do you want a nostalgic feeling when playing a new game that also provides new experiences? Or do you want to experience a brand new game with a pretty good story. They play very differently from each other, but both are good games. It really depends on how you feel.

Playing re4 while the last of us preloads. The game is very very good. Shame I had to fight the fish 7 times on hardcore after beating it the first time and game crashing! I would of given it a 10/10 if not for that crash!
