If i were you, i would play the game first and then watch the show. I really regret it that i watched the series first.
If you want to know which chapters of the game correspond to each episode of the show I'm happy to post that
So yes you can. After watching the show the game will also fill up the empty spaces from the show and also show u overal what really happened in the changed scenes.
The story of the game is mostly the same though. The only difference is the game adds a lot of action in between so it's much more bearable. Still think that story-wise it's kinda overrated (and it ends with cliffhanger - you will need to play part 2) but the gameplay is good.
Played the game years ago, and the show was more of a fresh look on the story.
The game is a lot different gameplay wise than the show action wise.
Thank you! That was very nice of you to say. Just trying to help out others get into one of my favourite series :)
There's more infected in the game than the show lol in which case i only remember probably a few moments infected showed up on screen.
You get to play it in (checks notes) 27hrs.
