Ah ok so it was mostly due to Capcom not giving them the keys in time for release rather than an issue with GMG? Ok that does make sense, especially since Capcom didn't provide any preloading whatsoever it must have made it a bit difficult for them.
I generally am quite hesitate to go to 3rd party sellers as it is and if I do i'll pay the extra from an authorised reseller since at least then it's not a key that could have been purchased by a stolen credit card or who knows what.
I get people like to use them that's cool but it's not for me. Generally if a companies name has to be literally censored on Steam then that's a pretty good sign to stay away.
Plus there is always that slim chance that your keys can be revoked after purchase if it is found they were purchased through illicit means.
Just look at the over 7000 people who purchased Sniper Elite 3 on launch day from that very company have all their keys completely revoked from their Steam account. With the only compensation coming in from slight discount on a dlc item in the game if they were to purchase it again on Steam.
Over 7000 stolen Sniper Elite 3 Steam keys revoked
Wow yeah just had a look and they are even cheaper by GMG by a decent amount.
I don't mind going through CD keys, I know they are probably a little more grey but they seem to have pretty good rep.
Cheers for that mate, i'll give them a shot and see how it goes.
I did it again for tlou part 1 will see.
100% stay away from G2A. It's so bad, Steam censors it.
Pleasantly surprised that they already gave me the key right after purchase which was good of them. Gives me a day or two to preload the game since our internet speeds can be atrocious over here in Australia. Thanks all for the help it was much appreciated.
