However, if you haven't played the last of us yet. Get it both
if you're mature player who likes good characters and well written stories and more realism gameplay wise , buy TLOU .
If you'e more into japanese silly stuff with stupid characters from B movies, bad vilains looking like clowns , bad story and dialogues written for 10 yers old , then go for RE4
Im not fan of any of these two games , just enjoyed playing them both , and in my personal taste TLOU is much better in all ways , thats it
RE4 Remake is a whole reimagining of the original game, so even though you may've played it back in 2005 there's a lot that happens that no one knows about.
RE4 is an actual remake,
This game is a remaster saying its a remake.
this game is a reskin.
Its a great game, but I call a spade and spade.
Its got a lot more detail so it likely cost millions thus wasnt a SUPER lazy remake, but a reskin is still a reskin. WHich im fine with it, as Ive always wanted to play this game on PC playing with a controller is annoying especially since I always play at the hardest setting, and grounded you die in like 3 hits LOL
Or one hit.
Last part in the hospital on grounded was really hard , but its do-able
More like, if you want to play action game with really good and rewarding gameplay and game that is somewhat different than original buy RE4 Remake.
On the other hand if you like good stories and watching movies, with basic gameplay interspersed between cutscenes and walking simulator sequences The Last of Us Part I is better for you.
Fanboying aside I like both and would recommend both of these, in fact at one point I am going to buy them both myself.
