Is this your first playthrough? If so, why grounded?
I'm really enjoying it though, the true surviving experience, I just don't understand why I cant carry more than 4 and loot the guns which were ready to shoot me
Yeah, it feels weird when they shoot at you at will and then don't leave a single bullet to pick up. But it's a design decision, scarcity is important in this game. You get more weapons, which means overall more bullets. But they will remain scarce so you always have to think twice about your approach. You can go melee, you can often avoid combat altogether.
If you run and hide often they can't shoot you easy and fast and I like it
This isn't a shooter, it's more of a survival game. Giving you a lot of ammo and hordes of enemies would be counter to the game design. Yes, it is "unrealistic" when enemies leave no ammo, but that doesn't matter, scarcity is important. You need to think twice about wasting a bullet. That's where all the tension comes from.
