TLOU Part 2 is MUCH better than TLOU Part 1. Stop spilling this utter nonsense.
If this is what you believe, you and I are very different peeps. I thought part 1 was great, and part 2 I lost all interest in even finishing, and the fact that I enjoyed part 1 so much made it more of a fall. We couldn't be more different, but that doesn't mean my opinion is nonsense. Try to be better please
The gameplay/combat is a little more evolved (and better IMO). I think a lot of people can’t get past what happens to one of the main characters from TLOU P1, and then also taking control of the person who caused the incident to said main character from Part 1. That combined with Ellie and Dina’s relationship plus a trans character you meet along the way. To be fair to most people who played the game, I think it’s 85-90% that don’t like the game is because of the former. It’s just that the ones who take issue with latter are particularly loud and in their feelings about it. These are the same types of people that now refuse to shop at Target or play Horizon games.
I encourage people to play and I think they will, after all …who passes on playing a game they might be interested in because of the say so of a stranger on the internet? I don’t trust another person’s opinion enough to do that, even ones I know IRL.
Why should I believe? Played it a few times. It's a brilliant game. Almost every way better than the Part 1.
No matter how good the graphics are, how great the game-play is, I'll never acknowledge Part 2 because of how terrible the story was.
I'll never understand how people can genuinely think it was a good sequel, and even say that it was better than the first.
I just think if you take any other game with a great story, make a sequel that surpasses it in almost every way, but the story was utter trash then it will never be a good sequel
Part 2 had so many good things about it, but ultimately abandoned the only thing that mattered,
I suspected the port would have issues and when they're all fixed I'll gladly buy and play the first game again.
Exactly, the story is just as important to me as gameplay and graphics. Some games can pull of a sequel exceptionally, the Witcher and God of War are great examples, with those the last sequel in the series could be considered the best.
If you love a good story like I do, play Last of Us part 1 but don't play part 2. However, Final Fantasy 16 is about to be released and it looks like it will have a top notch story, gameplay, and graphics. Can't wait to play it. Wish you all the best my fellow gamers.
2012 called, they want their Gamergate back.
Not even with basically a zombie apocalypse can humans cooperate at every level.
And Joel might have doomed mankind into not having any cure either
Abby's rage is completely normal
<insert TOS statement and watchlist trigger phrases involving their associates, families, communities>.
Look at what Joel did to protect his own. Fk who was right.
You gotta break it.
But ND had me playing Joel for Part-1 killing EVERYONE he met.
(unless they killed themselves first.)
As much as I like the concept of Part2 (and I will buy it), you've trained the gamer to kill everything .. then go 'high minded' later?
I see Abby killing Tommy and razing the dam community.
I see Ellie killing Abby.
Part-1 trained me to take no prisoners.
