You can always watch Digital Foundry's comparison of regular TLOU with the "remake" remake and judge for yourself whether the differences are worth it or not. Frankly in my opinion, Noclip sometimes appears to cross the line from documentary to just marketing department of whoever's game they are highlighting.

As for the propaganda documentary, if this had been released before the release of The Last of Us "Part I" on PS5 the game would most likely have had more hype.

because that's what they are literally made for lol.

gaming journalism is pretty much the equivalent of boulevard magazines. they only exist to "entertain" the stupid. even if that means going down on their knees to suck some publishers ♥♥♥♥♥ or stroking the ego of the fragile fanbase

One last thing, it is odd that Neil Druckmann (The "mastermind" behind "The Last of Us" franchise, for the better AND worse) was completely absent from this documentary. Granted, most likely he was really busy with something else but his absence is strange anyway.
It is almost as strange as a documentary about Metal Gear franchise without any appearance of Hideo Kojima himself. My apologies for comparing you to that Naughty Dog, Mr. Kojima (while he will never read this, it doesn't matter)!
