The only stuff you get specific to deluxe are some early ingame unlocks, which you can otherwise unlock through completing the game anyways.
Thanks man.
Welp... You only needed to read the description properly and read what the deluxe content was to know what you're buying lol.
At least you'll have some skins pre-unlocked now and some extra crafting materials on your playthrough :)
Ask a refund, and re-buy the standard edition.
That's not exactly true. I did read it, twice, and the way it's written suggests you only get Left Behind by buying the deluxe version.
You read it wrong.
The Last of Us™ Part I Digital Deluxe Edition includes the following content:
The Last of Us single-player story and Left Behind prequel chapter
Early unlock of the following in-game items:
Increased Crafting Speed Skill
Increased Healing Speed Skill
9mm Reload Speed Increase Upgrade
Rifle Clip Capacity Increase Upgrade
Explosive Arrows Gameplay Modifier
Dither Punk Filter
Speedrun Mode
Six Weapon Skins: Black Gold 9mm Pistol, Silver Filigree 9mm Pistol, Rubber Tactical Shotgun, Sculpted Oak Shotgun, Arctic White Bow, Carbon Black Bow
Left behind DLC was already a part of the game since the Remaster.
Deluxe edition only comes with extra stuff that can basically be unlocked by playing the game.
Its basically saying you get the base game plus left behind and early unlocks.
It's the same release as the PS5 version, Prequel DLC is included no matter what version you buy, Just as it is on the PS5.
The "deluxe" and "firefly" editions just have a bunch of ingame unlocks pre-unlocked for you such as time trial mode where you have to complete chapters as quickly as possible, more crafting items and some skins pre-unlocked.
But those can be unlocked through a playthrough and more can be unlocked via subsequent playthroughs on higher difficultly levels.
It's why I didn't bother with Deluxe, I'll be able to unlock them myself anyways.
I believe you lol. It's just the way it is written on the steam page you should be able to understand some of the confusion here. As the other guy posted it says underneath the digital deluxe content is the single player story and the left behind story. It doesn't specify if you get left behind as part of the standard edition.
Yep, Deluxe Edition is a waste of money.
Oh yeah, I'm not refuting that, It definitely looks misleading in the wording, But yeah you get "Left Behind" regardless of version 😀
Thanks man
