are you for real? the 970 is decade old card and so is the cpu
I'm waiting for sale or when there are not many games released like now is better.
I agree that it is probably bad optimization, but that is only one factor, a lot of people want 10 year old hardware to last forever, and they will use examples of games like red dead 2 to prove a point while ignoring the fact that there is NO OTHER GAME like red dead 2, its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rockstar game where people worked 80 hour work weeks for years to make and when they finished it they never added dlc because it would ♥♥♥♥ up that level of polish they accomplished. If you've seen this remake you'll understand that there is quite a bit of improvements that would make 10 year old parts out of the question whether it was well optimized or not.
Graphics standards increased? "REE, what are they thinking?!"
"heads I win, tails you lose"
RDR2 has the same CPU listed for minimum requirements and a step up in GPU listed.
So, your claim that "it doesn't come close to the requirements" is 100% false, it's not only mostly the same, it's fractionally slightly higher requirements (2gb more on gpu)
You're either intentionally lying or just completely unable to read system requirements to compare them.
