Not everyone is in the business of playing decade old games for thousands of hours. We get it, it’s not up your alley. But to call Demons Souls a remake and not TLOU Part 1 is just hypocritical. They are nearly identical in how they were done with both remaining faithful to the original gameplay and maintaining the same level design. Both games are completely redone in new engines with massively improved graphics, new audio, new animations, new UI, and other minor changes to modernize the game. I would say TLOU actually went even further by having completely new AI systems for both enemy and companions that significantly improves the gameplay as well as an introduction of the animation system from TLOU2 which is significantly more complex than that of Demons Souls and almost every other game in existence.
