it's a remake
To be fair, Steam discussions could do with a 'Quora.com'-style "did you even check?"
While you're typing in a question into quora, it dynamically suggests similar questions that have been asked before.
Though in my defence I didn't get to play on the ps4 or ps5 as I don't own those systems, I already know its a great game from my playtime on the ps3.
I can't wait, its only like 4 weeks away from launch on Friday coming ( in 2 days )
and?
its the same game
4 of your games are remakes, 2 are identical in every sense ( metro 2033 redux and metro last light redux ) in comparison to their original releases.
While the other 2 are reimaginings ( RE2 and RE3 ) because the original games utilise static camera views and use tank controls whereas the new ones are 3p view over the shoulder.
If youre going to make arguments about a game being the same as its predecessor even if its a remake, Then it kinda makes you look contradictory having 2 games that already had been released and genuinely didnt need a "redux" version bevause the originals were absolutely fine as they were.
On the subject of metro, If you played the OG release, it is actually a superior version than the redux because there was a huge focus on nvidia physx in the OG release whereas the effects are toned down in the redux to improve performance.
last of us is not a reimagining or remake.
its the same damn game from ps3 era just prettier graphics
Again.. you are guilty of having bought 2 games that didn't need a newer version.
Youre contradicting yourself by complaining about TLOU when Metro2033 and Metro Last light redux versions did the exact same thing.
Metro 2033 came out in 2010, And then it was re-released as a redux with only subtle changes made to the visuals and that released in 2014
2033 last light originally released In 2013 and the redux dropped in 2014 also.
They both sold at RRP iirc unless you owned the originals, only then did you get discounted prices.
Either way, you can buy TLOU or you can hang tight for a sale, that's entirely your prerogative.
I opted to buy it because I thoroughly enjoyed the original ps3 release and I know full well that I'm going to enjoy it even more on pc with the whole revamp to the game engine and more.
ive already platted last of us on ps4 on grounded plus.
no one needs to buy it if they've beaten it on the other 15 platforms
metro reduxes weren't 60 bucks a piece tho
last of us should be 30 tops
True, But even still, making these threads isn't going to suddenly make Sony publish them for under RRP.
We are still paying less than you would pay for the PS5 version on release.
Not to mention there are other legitimate storefronts selling this game for like $40 instead of $60.
That's far far closer to what you expect to pay and that's fine, personally I'm fine with the occasional purchase at RRP if feel the game deserves it, which I do for TLOU.
And its rare asf that I preorder anything ever since I got burned by Aliens Colonial Marines.
sony is not going to sell this game for retail.
sony ponies will get a huge discount since its a sony game
