Should Sony start using Denuvo?
Everyone else is doing it. It's not like they will look bad in comparison. And TLOU is a big enough game to get a decent boost from having DRM on launch

Put a sock in it son. You know what? Go to your room. You're on a time-out. For a week. ...and if I catch you playing fortnite or doing those stupid tiktok videos again, I'll make it a month. Be happy because you deserve worse than that so you best straighten up boy. Don't make me take the belt off again.
Get a job ya bum

Bruh..... People unironically supporting DRM... Now we can finally say that years of consumerism brainwash start to pay off. My god. Does anyone else remember when you could share your games by just sharing the cd?????
Remeber when Season Passes start rising and people were upset?? They shoved it down our throat, along DRM, microtransations, loot boxes, buggy unfinished games.
And then you support DRM in a 10 year old game, that has been relaunched for two generations on a row for 60$??????
un*******believable that people support this ****
No wonder the world's in it's actual state right now
BTW: This isn't personal to you, but for people who support abusive policies, which is a larger group by the day.
It just makes me really sad that consumers won't stand up for their rights.
I am sure that Sony would rather their games perform 1% worse performance than getting played for free
its gonna get played for free u can count on that kid after u ask your mom for credit card so u can buy 10 year old game for 60 euros you moron

They would if their sale is bad, but considering their past releases I highly doubt so.

It’s only 36€ on instant gaming. They never disappointed me once so far, I bought around 10 games and every single time they delivered the key instantly or right at launch like RE4R.
36% discount on TLoU is huge. Never played the game before so it’s totally worth it for me. Happy to see Sony releasing games for PC.

Persona 5 Royal says hi on DRM. lots of people were not happy because of the horrid performance issue but 80% of the Persona 5 community takes it and pretend it doesn't exist because ATLUS can do no wrong.

i would say yes
Single player game doesn't really need additional Anti-Tamper software. It'll be a waste of developer's time & money for nothing.

I hope it gets Denuvo. The screaming from the tinfoil hats in the forums is music to my ears.

Yes, definitely! this game needs the latest Denuvo

Very High end requirements game with drm?

I bought RDR2 the week it came out and couldn't get it to run.

Went back and forth with Steam and Rockstar customer service for a week, to no avail. FInally, they refunded me.

Couple of years later I sold my PC and the new owner installed a cracked version of the game and it runs perfectly.

That's what denuvo does. Drives people away from games, and favours piracy.

Isn't denuvo only useful if the game/title has online part to it? This remake/release does not.
JaredX7 Mar 26, 2023 @ 7:58am
There's literally nothing useful about Denuvo.
