The best game over the past decade is coming to PC

Words cannot describe how happy I am that my favourite game that I hold very close to my heart is coming to PC. Unbelievable feeling having this absolute story and gameplay masterpiece on my preffered platform. I would have never dreamed of having this game on PC, shame it's not the original version I played through almost 10 times on my old PS3 and a couple of times on PS4 as a remastered version.

Iam kinda disappointed only a digital copy is available, I would be happy if they released a similar firefly version as they did for PS5 at the start of this year.

But it doesn't matter, Iam as happy as can be, wish my father was still here to experience this with me one more time

Man why are people imposing their opinions when you just shared a great story? Don't pay any mind to these people fam. I experience the remake on PS5 recently and it is an excellent game that was clearly made by a passionate team. Have a good time when it releases, and don't let anyone change how you think of it.

it's honestly a shame that tlou was a sony exclusive because it has hands down the best writing and plot in any video-game created during the last decade.

I had such high hopes for tlou2 and generally was looking forward to see how naughty dog expanded upon that franchise considering the cordyceps virus makes so much more sense in regards to how dangerous it is and how easy it is for entire settlements to get overwhelmed by said virus.

unfortunately since video-games are increasingly shifting their focus from trying to be original, to just blatantly copying every new hollywood trend, we got tlou2 which is probably the most glorified and underwhelming mess of story-telling.
not because of joel's death but how pretentious and idiotic the plot was organized.

Yes, you are right, 100%. The sequel is a terrible mess, from a narrative and story stanpoint it makes little to no sense. Fortunately the gameplay was very satysfing, so it's not a terrible game overall, but the narrative issue along with terrible dialogue make it a much much worse game than the original, that's for sure.

But this is not about the sequel, but rather about the remake of the original coming to PC in just a couple of months. That's something I never even dreamed of happening. :)

I intentionally omitted the gameplay because I already talked about it in other forums. I still think tlou2 is a solid 7/10 because ND delivered in both graphics and gameplay without over-promising like they did in the first game. ( I still vaguely remember that incredibly doctored gameplay footage of tlou1 )

if you want to stay updated about new releases, then visit some of the leak forums. I knew about this ever since the geforce now leak which is considered ancient.

with that said, one can only hope nintendo catches the drift and also releases a few of their games on pc? I would love to play the new metroid, mario kart and smash bros but I'm not willing to dish out 300 quid for 720p 30fps console, only to play 3 games.

I'd argue god of war is worse:
- easy af combat without any challenge.
- story is directly copied from tlou but without the good writing or actually endearing characters
- gameplay is far worse than 3 and ascension
- pointless rpg mechanics
- no enemy variety

it's as if michael bay created god of war without understanding what the fans wanted.

anyway god of war combat is not perfect, but it is not so bad, you have hot spot in Niflheim
i dont really care about the lore when i play for the gameplay, else i would never able to enjoy dark soul ^_^
still better gameplay than last of us
i stopped to care about rpg mechanic since witcher 3
but still more enemies variety than last of us

But i more enjoy days gone than God of War days gone in highest difficulty is pretty good hard and fun god of war on hardest diff is still kind off easy and more like cinematic movie than a game. But still better than sleepy uncharted or that kid sleepyboy adventures for 60 bucks
