and I did update to AMD 23.9.2 as well.
rolling back now to see if it fixes the problem.
can confirm, HUD works as it's supposed to after re-installing 23.9.1 drivers.
thank you for figuring this out. I was worried I wouldn't be able to play AC6 comfortably for a while lol.
23.9.2 had some fixes for Lies of P or something, which I intend to play at some point. And 23.9.3 show up in the AMD Control Panel as available, but clicking on the link to release notes doesn't show availability for Polaris, so it's possible that Polaris is no longer going to be updated by AMD.
I'll file a bug report through the app about AC6.
It's still busted for me on 23.12.1.
Can confirm as of 6/27/2024 that 23.9.2 still has the UI bug for me and I can't revert back to 23.9.1. So, I rolled back for nothing. I may have to refund the game for this as it kind of makes the game unplayable. I hope either FromSoft or AMD fix this soon.
