Stuck on Continue Game loading screen

Once I hit continue from the main menu I get stuck in an endless loading screen, i tried to start a new game it starts without a problem.

This suggests something might be wrong with that save file. Do you recall what you last did in-game on that save? If so please share as that might help others in future. Meanwhile It might be worth submitting a proper bug report along with your save file to FS. I've seen a handful of these reports now and I'd quite like not to encounter it myself.

Having the exact same issue here, and here is what I can say about what caused it.

I had finished editing a mech with a lot of custom decals on it, deployed it on a mission, and got an infinite loading screen. I closed the game, tried to relaunch and hit continue, same thing. If I had to guess it's got something to do with the game trying to load the customized mech. I don't want to reset my save just because of this 1 stupid save, any ideas?
