How do I ensure HDR stays off?

I have HDR disabled in game, and on my monitor, but when I launch AC it continues to enable it. Is there a launch option I need to use to make sure HDR stays off?

So the only option I see in game, OS, or monitor for HDR is in Windows, and it's set to off.

There's a few possible factors but without being there to inspect it's hard to diagnose. For now the windows hot key "Windows + Alt + B" turns HDR on and off. This potentially could be a quick work around. On top of this, settings are not saved in the game until you back out to the Garage or Title Screen. You'll see a little saving circle spinning after both changing a setting and exiting the settings screen. If you change a setting then select the option to return to desktop, the settings are not saved. Just a quirk of FS settings in their games. I hope the windows shortcut helps for now.
