How does Arxan DRM compare to Denuvo?

I know nothing about Arxan but always cautious of new DRM. Do we know how intrusive/performance impacting it is? I suspect this game will already be intensive without it.

Arxan is less aggressive of a DRM than Denuvo from the consumer perspective, it doesn't need to phone home, it's presumably harder to crack however.

Pretty sure you've already played Arxan games, first party microsoft games and Rockstar games carry it. ^^''

From games aren't really hard on systems. This game will get a PS4 release afaik, so expect it to be about on the level of Elden Ring regarding resource consumption.

Arxan never been cracked day 1 yet as far as I know.
There's reports that GTAV was, but these cracks had been worked on before release, and they ultimately didn't work very well, wasn't up until like a year later that GTAV got fully cracked.

Whatever antitemper crap they put in, I just hope modders get interested by the title. If LukeRoss can get his VRMod for the title like he did for Elden Ring and Dark Soul Remastered, I'll buy the whole thing. If not, well, life goes on, I still need to check Mechwarrior 5 in VR.

Pity that Fromsoft never learn from how well Elden Ring did without such douchebag DRM. So it will lose me as a customer instead. and be forever on my ban list.

Sounds like a YOU issue with your Standards or more like you don't actually care about buying games at all.
You complaining about Elden Ring and yet everyone can see you gave it a Positive.

Alot better than denuvo. Anyone complaining about stuttering is suffering from a different issue and not related to the DRM at all.

It's too bad really. The DRM only proved effective for two days, that's a bit pathetic. Not worth the perf loss and various issues.

Fingers crossed, let's hope they patch it out at some point so we're not forced to play with the cracked version, with demanding mods like VR particularly vulnerable to stuttering and unstable FPS issues.

That statement is an assumption that cannot be proven.

Which one, the stuttering issues people have been having? sure, but alot of people are also playing just fine and there have been a fair few solutions already to stuttering

From what I know, it's a true Anti-tamper and not a DRM(not sure about this part) like Denuvo, it's simply there so people cannot tamper with the game in a bad way, as a packer. It also have 2 version, an aggressive and a less aggressive one.
Unlike Denuvo, Arxan doesn't force the games to rely on a 3rd party DRM server, and that's a good thing.
