Playstation glyphs on PC?

I prefer the dualsense/dualshock controllers to the xbox inputs. Here is to hoping we can change that in game, as Elden Ring required a mod for that sort of thing.

Ditto. I literally need this to play and it's surprising other, older games have this option and a 2023 game doesn't. Oh, well, I guess I just have to wait for a mod.

Would be nice to have it, but y'all could also use a better controller. I'm sorry, but in terms of ergonomics Xbox controller makes dual sense look amateur.

There currently is no way to do it. Sekiro had a mod for it.

The guys who make Yakuza, RGG, have no problem detecting what controller you are using through Steam input and showing the proper icons.
It blows my mind that a studio like From hasn't figured out how to do that yet.

All that said, I've used a Dualshock 4 from 2016 to 2021 via Steam input; and then a Dualsense from then until a few months ago when I got fed up with Stick drift and changed controllers entirely. ('Tis a shame, the touchpad is insanely useful with Steam)

Most games only have Xinput prompts, so you might just be better off adapting rather than hoping games can show the right button via devs or mods.

I have ps4 prompts. i think you have to activate it in the steam controller settings.

I am using a dualsense controller while playing this game and the icons are showing PS layout. I only enabled PlayStation controller via steam settings.

I know this is troll post, but…
I actually prefer the old PS2/PS3 controller over Any Xbox controller or the new PS4/PS5.
Though the Xbox layout works better in shooters.
If you took the Left analog stick on a ps3 controller and swapped the d-pad places that would be my dream controller

AC6 uses a bad (but common) implementation of the Steam Input API to see what kind of controller is connected to your computer.
Basically all it does is replicate the buttons of an Xbox controller, and ask Steam the identity of the controller. (Surprisingly, it does provide a "localization" based on which console the controller is meant for, so you'll see Square/Triangle/Cross/Circle Actions on a DualShock 4 or DualSense instead of X/Y/A/B.)

sorry to necro but in case anyone else is as stupid as i am and ends up on this thread: with ds4windows NOT RUNNING and the steam controller settings "playstation controller support" set to "enabled" this game does have playstation glyphs :)
