Luckily you're on PC so just back up this:
C:\Users\[your_username]\AppData\Roaming\ArmoredCore6
Steam Cloud saves will probably nag about something when you try to put it back, but you should be able to tell it what files to use.
Either way, do this at your own risk.
excellent
Go to the Replay Missions menu and select Illegal Entry -- the intro cinematic will play just the same as if you're booting the game up for the first time.
Though, with the way the game has been structured, I don't really see the need for starting a new game.
you still miss a few of them
it sucks man
once you click 'new game' it'll say it found existing progress data and ask if you want it deleted and start a new game. you can ok that or cancel it. it wont touch your save without confirmation first
From what I've heard, there is currently no way to repeat the story-specific Garage dialogue. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'd love to see them available in the Archive section.
Agreed 100%. Past Armored Core games allowed multiple saves. I don't see why AC6 lacks it.
Yes, when you click Yes I want to delete my save progress button, only your story progress and parts progress get deleted. The saved AC Data, paint schemes, and custom emblems are saved. But emblems unlocked through the campaign are not saved.
Also, I turned off auto save to the cloud in the Steam properties for this game and I managed to make a backup of my save file found here:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\ArmoredCore6
I played around a bit and it seems like this method allows you to switch save files manually through explorer. It works fine, no issues. Just have to really remember to turn off auto save to cloud.
