Had this same problem and I had two solutions, both of which worked well for me;
1. I mapped my weapons to the NumPad so I could use em using my ring middle and index fingers and my camera buttons to the arrow keys so I could control it with my thumb. I lock on to a target and the computer just lets me swivel around the Hard Locked target. This is very good for dueling. In general use the mouse when I am moving around but when engaging in a duel or arena fight, I go full keyboard.
2. I bought a heavy five button mouse, cost me just six dollars US. The size of the mouse and the weight of the battery helps keep it completely stationary so Hard Lock sticks.
if you somehow get stuck with the remapping ON you can press ctrl + alt + del and it will disabled the remapping.
me personally i would have 2 layers on the profile tho, one with the mouse working normally, and the other where the mouse is muted or remapped to a controller stick or something. then just press a button to switch it back and forth.
The mouse is not moving. To add validity to this, it always throws it skyward. So even if i put the mouse dead center, where it would have the least amount of effect, it will throw it straight upwards as if ive taken the mouse to the top of the screen every time
Thats not a terrible idea. I was hoping for something like this being native to the game. such as just denying aim input from the mouse. but being able to turn the mouse back on, for things like when im between missions and using my second screen and need my mouse.
I started Controller and Mouse Combo back in 2006 to play WoW(R.I.P Logitech Dual Action haha). This is the best iteration of that Combo(Unless Grifta Solo comes back).
If you hate WASD there is hope!

Not me in the Vid. Just a good guide.
its probably my subwoofer tbh. but it does even happen when its off. so who knows why my mouse decides it wants to be the input
Does the mouse have a switch off button? If not can you put it upside down or put something heavy on it to prevent movement?
its not a drift. its full blown upwards movement as if im aiming as far upwards as possible.
Unless the controller is going full upwards for no reason. which i doubt it'd do if it was drifting.
also when i turned down the sensitivity on the mouse-specific controls, it dampened the upwards moving considerably
