Wish-list weapons?
I know we aren't getting anything else, but one can dream

What I kinda wish was for more esoteric equipment :

Things like radar packs, flares, ECM Maker, Sniper Cannons, Integrated weapon arms, ammo packs for shoulders, weapons that take both back slots like LETHALDOSE or OIGAMI, extra boosters that take both back slots like ACB-O710

Im not far into the game but I wish to see:
Kinetic shoulder weapons like a Chaingun or a railgun, I've got a laser right now but it just doesn't feel right
Dual Swords, cuz weeb robots are great
I want the Electric Whip the cloaked AC was using, massive disappointment it wasn't a reward after the mission

Back mounted rail cannon that is balanced around 1 shot reload and doesn't have recoil. exact same thing as rail cannon phact from for answer. "It would be op", no, they would balance the attack power and impact value for it to not be op.

Kinetic sniper cannons too to fill the same niche but with higher impact, higher attack power, maybe 2-5 round magazines and varying stats with recoil as well. No reason we should have literally 40 missile options and 0 good med-long range kinetic options for back weapons.

If a plasma cannon can fit into the game with a charged shot that has medium range and a huge explosion effect without being imbalanced, there is no reason to not have heavy hitting kinetic options that don't involve a charge mechanic or blast radius to be added to the game. AC is about building the mech you want, so why did they deny this type of player what they want?

ACV/VD things, basically picture weapons that pretty much are so comically powerful that an AC has trouble actually using them.

Like a Concrete Pillar with a bunch of boosters welded onto it, or a COMICALLY large beam cannon.

They were in the "Awesome but Impractical" zone in V/VD, often having a blue ton of drawbacks (like not being able to equip any weapon bays since they took up both back slots) on top of basically hamstringing your AC in some fashion after their limited active time was up.

that extra booster thing could be a fun addition, imagine being able to dodge diagonally as well as straight up or down, that would be too cool lol not to mention the even further speed boost u could get out of it

Overall it's just too much/complicated issues for pvp balancing. I understand why a lot of features and stuff that have been removed.

But, I think that the balance affected how good your AC was at turning, etc.

If anything, it added a cosmetic layer to the customization. Like, for instance, you had all sorta horns/antennas for the head. You wanted Gundam? You had it~

Ah yes, that I don't mind bringing back. They should bring back the stabilizers feature. It was a cool little touch for spicing up your frames.
