From's engine doesn't seem to have any particular issues with AMD

Did you verify your local game files and reboot your pc?
First steps taken. Still crashes. I've seen others say the game crashes when Assault Armor is used (same problem I have) and the most common thing is AMD. In my case I suppose it could be just old stuff (I'm not very knowable about PC parts and software).

well, it was opposite for me, got crashes over crashes with my intel 14900k until I RMA'd my machine for a AMD 9950x, literally zero crashes since.
Have a good day.

9800x3d ok here on win11pro 22H2.
I cant recommend 24H2 as it was a buggy/unreliable experience.

Well, here is one thing to try that is pretty easy, to check Windows' health.

1 - open up a command prompt with administrative priveleges
2 - type: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and then push enter

Let that run. Once it is done

3 - type: SFC /scannow and then push enter
Let than run. It may find corrupt Windows files and repair them. Then reboot your computer!
So far this has worked, I'll post back if it crashes again but for now,

Thank you good sir

i got a 5800x3d and red devil 6950xt combo and never crashed ones so maybe a corrupted file or something?

this post brought to you by.. Nvidia PR. lol.

I got a 7800x3d and a 4080 rtx super. game runs fine. you might be experiencing some sort of anti cheat crash. easy anti cheat doesn't play well with others.
Nvidia doesn't care anymore about the gaming consumer. We're customer 2. Customer 1 is data centers running AI stuff. It was noticed and pointed out with the model numbers of more recent cards. They exist to make shareholders money, so they will also likely continue to be unreasonably expensive.

As for AMD, I suggest Windows 10. Download the media creation tool direct from MS, make a USB flash drive installer, and install a version that was equal to the version of Windows 11 the PC had (IE, home 10 if home 11 was installed, pro 10 if was pro 11 was instead). It should auto-key win 10 with the previously installed Win 11 key provided you don't bugger with wiping BIOS settings or w/e that holds the key.

Biggest issue I had with AMD and Win 10 was that when they patched 1.05 or 1.06 something bugged with a GFX on the stun guns/needle launchers and it locked up and after 3 minutes it had me worried because the fans were maxed so I forced shut down through holding the power button. Ever since I lost the built-in BT functions of my Mobo. They've never worked right since. Even did a fresh re-install on windows and factory drivers. Have been using a USB 3.0 BT 5.1 dongle ever since to have BT functions.

Debloated Win11Pro 23H2/ X870i Pro Ice /GTX1080Ti/ AMD 9800x3d /32Gb DDR5 rock stable.
Using BT audio on Corsair Virtuoso headset no problems.

It's so sad that Windows is so bloated and poorly QA'd these days that we have to debloat it and stay on the 2 year old patch. I'm on 24H2, it's mostly usable but all the small bugs like volume going to 100% for a split second on startup and windows randomly getting defocused gets annoying.
