Error Code: 30005 Help
So what do I do? I have uninstalled, reinstalled I have ripped apart the security board and NOTHING just 30005 error code... I am on windows 11 and I dont have Kernal protection as an option. Also, everytime I try to setup EasyAnticheat manually it doesn't work I get a box then it fades away... what do I do?
The options I have in Core iso are Memory Integrity Local Security Authority Protection Microsoft Vulnerable driver Blocklist.
Even when I try to run the "easy anti cheat" as an admin it just fades away

same issue i just ended up requesting a refund

damn, I'm having the same issue as well and also have yet to find a solution...
the good news is that this issue isn't limited to AC6, as I understand it. Apparently it's an issue between Epic EasyAntiCheat and Microsoft W11 new security features. Hopefully Epic fixes their sh*t soon so that those of us on W11 can play games that require EAC

I think it is isolated. I can play Elden Ring.

It's also happening to Squad 44 and Chivalry 2

"Go to Windows settings. Go to Core Isolation. Turn off Local Security Authority protection AND Memory Integrity. Turning it all off might be a bitter pill to swallow, I know, but it fixed it for me. Let me know if it works then!"

"Hello folks. I'm the player nolaJeff mentioned who fixed the issue by turning off the Memory Integrity option. For now, this is the only known way to get the game running. This is due to Easy Anticheat requiring access to like the deepest cores of the system (so it can deal with cheat software that works on the same security-access level). However, one of my friends mentioned that Microsoft/Windows apparently is working on some changes so that software like Easy Anticheat can get access it requires granted BY the OS, thus making it obsolete to turn the Memory Integrity off. So, in short, Microsoft is working on it."

These are what I have found on those two games

Just bought the game on sale the other day. Running on Windows 11 and having the same 30005 error code that the anti-cheat software can't work properly. This is SUPER annoying. Do they have a place where I can directly message them?

Note sure if this helps:
ACVI has been incredibly unstable since Win11 updated to 24H2.
Win11 + 24H2 was in general unreliable. Good thing I still had an older ISO ....Reverted back to 22H2... alls good! 23H2 seems stable as well on other rig.

im also having this issue with w11 24H2 any news?

W11 23H2 isn't working for me and i'm unable to revert back to 22H2. any other suggestions?

You'll probably have to wait till it gets fixed between Microsoft and game devs, the other option puts your PC in a compromised state

It worked, thank you very much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:coolstar2022:
This error has been around for a while and the developers are not doing anything. It is very annoying to have to change the configuration just for this game. :steamfacepalm:

Apparently a patch next month is coming for it
Well I am glad to know it has nothing to do with me, I guess. It's absolutely crazy that games just, don't work because of some random windows update or ANTICHEATS needing deep system access. Ridiculous.

Chivalry 2 is having the same issue, but the developers have moved on from that game.

Fromsoftware (made this game.), Valve (is selling this game.), Microsoft (made Windows.), Epic Games (made Easy Anti Cheat)...
Do they or does one of them help customers? Why is this still happening?
