Armore Core VI/Installed Files/Verify Integrity of Files)
Basics then:
If possible list the model# of the Motherboard & Ram specs. Use CPU-Z/CPUID app to check.
Download MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner APP & record what the CPU & GPU temps are when idle.
Then see/record what the temps are when AC6 crashes while using Assault Armor.
There are numerous you-tube videos on how setup MSI Affterburner/ Rivatuner onscreen temps, fan rpms, fps, etc. while gaming. Custom CPU & GPU temp/fan rpm fonts, names etc...
Hardware:
0. Heat is a PCs enemy. Sensors detecting over-temp will throttle down the CPU performance (clock cycles) to protect itself for example. Also applies to Graphic cards.
1. The CPU might be overheating. If it been a couple of years clean & re-paste the CPU heatsink or AIO.
2. That RX580 is probably due for thermal re-paste & heat pad replacement. Dried up thermal paste & brittle thermal pads will cause overheating, especially under load (hence the AA crash?).
3. Internal of the PC case might full dust. Carefully use a vacuum remove debris/dust etc.... Try to avoid using Can of air blasted directly at PCB components!.
4. If still using a HDD mechanical spinning drive, highly recommend upgrade it to a SSD or M.2 .
When temps are under control, then check other stuff like the MObo bios version, Windows OS tuning/de-bloat/updates/ gpu drivers...who knows it might be a good Overclocker lol.
Another thing that's quite overlooked is the state of operating system. If Windows is unstable or bloated/sluggish to begin with, then running AC6 will not be a good experience.
happy hunting!
