Absolutely Hardstuck on that mission with the invisible enemies
Oh no it's Coral something, anyway.. Either I'm trying to kill that nearly invincible guy in the middle of the arena who just keeps jumping like a frog and avoiding all my attacks and get annihilated by the invisible sniper guys. Or I try to search far and wide for the invisible sniper guys meanwhile getting annihilated by that nearly invincible guy in the middle of the arena who just keeps jumping like a frog and avoiding all my attacks.

It's just impossible and serious Armored Core rage is serious. I don't know but somehow I managed to get this far in the game when played the game previously around year ago..

I have a robot which I'm flying around as (mostly walking tho), I have absolutely zero idea what abilities it has.. A melee hit, some kind of shield which can barely be called a shield, a ranged attack which just shoots in the air and some kind of shotgun thing.

Watch me beat this first try after writing this..

Sensor pulse. Click the stick in if memory serves? Turns off their invisibility for a bit. They tell you to do it outright earlier in the mission. Your range on it is determined by your head part so you may just be shafting yourself with a head that cant scan for crap.

This and use body parts resitance to energy weapons. Plasma Missile Launcher Vvc-703PM (shoulder weapons) works fine whit these invisible minions and can spam it to the boss to make him lost all dash energy and give you chance to do a directly heavy shoot. Any way all faster enemies usually have less HP if yiu can push him to a wall and no leave him move spaming in his face all weapons at same time usually works (if you have a lot of AP)

Also use a booster with high assault boost value if you want to chase the invisible enemy from wall to wall

They all have set spawn locations, and the earshot cannons one shot them:

I understand what you mean, and I think they shouldn't have put such a difficult mission right at the beginning. Once you have more experience, this mission becomes way easier. I don't know how many hours you have clocked already, but I think you should replay some missions until you get good enough at the controls.

Anyway, what happens in that final room is that there are 3 invisible snipers on the walls and a pursuer with pulse armor on the ground. To find the snipers, you can either look at your radar (the red dots at the bottom) or use Scan (that has a finite range). If you use the radar, just know that the aim reticle only locks onto the enemy when you're right on top of them. If you Scan instead, they'll stay revealed for a few seconds. What you have to pay attention to is that the snipers will relocate to another place after firing a few times or if you stay near them for too long. The best chance to kill them is when you shoot them from the wall and they fall down (any attack will knock them from the wall).

It takes some time to perfect, and once you do so, it's rather simple. About the pulse shield guy, leave him for last. Don't stay too long in a place trying to kill a sniper, or the pursuer will catch up and use that energy whip.

Lastly, don't feel bad for looking at video strategies for some of those missions. Some missions later on will have parts that are rather obtuse at first, but become trivial once you know the trick to it. A good example is when you need to descend a big shaft to attack an artillery platform at the bottom.

bro, there's a high chance that hardstuck means that he haven't got past that mission in story mode, earshot is waay ahead of his weapon choice.. -w-')

When it comes to scans? That one is a bigger bastard with the benefit of hindsight, because replaying it with better scan heads than you were allowed to have the first time through just reminds you "Oh, they are so high up that most heads can't even reach to scan them, until you are basically on top of them"

Also, don't attack them as they fall down from the wall after you hit them with something to knock em off. Why? because of JANK. shooting them as they fall can push them back enough they catch on the pixel wide ledge, then recover up there.

Wait for them to hit the ground, then bazooka/melee/etc punish them. and you will probably kill them off easily instead of let them recover due to physics ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Also. pulse weapons are trash. even against pulse shields. Machineguns are your friend if you want a gun to deal with those better. Even the tutorial machinegun is so much better vs pulse shields (and won't be too overheated to shoot them when stunned) it is great even against late game bosses with pulse shields.

Finally, they all have a little too much health. Just enough to call them "overtuned" even as you S rank them. With your early game stats, the cloaked snipers can survive being counter sniped with a charged laser cannon shot. (Or at least, did at launch. though I doubt any patches made that able to one-shot them).

Top to bottom, the problem is "Yeah these are overtuned" with a side of jank betraying you if you try to play smart. Even treating them as a joke and killing the main target first while dancing around sniper fire, I gotta be honest about that.

dude use 2 bazuka at hands and 2 Plasma Missile Launcher Vvc-703PM.
focus doing fliying dash lookin for snipers. Radar purlse when are close and spam Vvc.
Avoid stay more time in ground. When all snipers dies. Just focus in to jump over te Boss his mele weapon is useles in air combar, but your weapons are nice to do a fire rain. and spam all your weapons.

For me (the boss fight part) I found it better NOT to shoot because it was awkward sending them to ground- better to assault boost straight to melee range
