Two S tier Zimmerman games losing to C tier launchers I should keep a tally of free wins.
Also it is relatively heavy and cost a lot of en, so some extreme build will find that inconvenient.
You usually want a FCS that supports the range you will be attacking from the most, which is determined by the optimal ranges of your weapons. The WLT 001 is the highest performing well-rounded FCS, allowing you to attack effectively from all ranges. But that high performance comes at a high EN cost. Rule #1 for every Armored Core game is EN management is king. Usually the ideal method is to use the part that gives you the highest gains at the lowest EN cost.
Observe the FC-008 TALBOT, for example, it's almost half the weight, almost half the EN cost, with comparable close range, mid-range, and missile lock capabilities - you only lose out on long-range lock... but you probably aren't attacking from long range anyways, so the loss on long-range lock doesn't affect you at all. IMO, this would be a better FCS for a Zimmerman + missile build. Also, the ABBOT and OCELLUS should offer comparable abilities.
