So basically look at how Rusty does it, but instead of the laser slicer, you can use the normal pulse blade or go full ranged with duo Ludlow machine guns and 4x or 6x missiles.
Or you can go lightweight all the way, it depends if you want to go fast or go a bit slower.
Always remember to experiment with different parts, you might think you like the current build the best, but you never know.
Especially try out all the booster and energy battery (very important) until you find the ones you like the best.
Personally I like using reverse jointed legs and dual automatic guns + missiles or grenade cannons.
Honestly though? Experiment! Take different weapons into training mode and try them out. Some of them will surprise you. The first time I played AC6 I dismissed a lot of weapons without even trying them. This was a mistake because I found that I really liked them on the recent playthrough I did.
And if you end up not liking a weapon you can always just sell it back to the shop to get a full refund.
It fires kinda slow doe.
however, my #1 recommendation as an easy, early game build: 2x ludlow MGs + 2x 5-shot vertical plasma missiles on the shoulders. This build deals with an *insane* amount of stuff to date: ever single arena fight, and many of the bosses until Ibis. plasma missiles are particularly good against heavy armored bosses like the cleaner and the wall.
It won't easily S-rank a number of missions that really benefit from specific builds (particularly high-alpha melee) but it will get a clear, without too much fuss, on just about everything in the first 3 chapters.
Best of all, it's a pretty light load-out so if you want to really practice dodging and movement it really lets you cognitively focus on that. the playstyle is simple: close distance hold triggers, fire missiles when available (it helps that these launchers have *great* overall stats and reload quickly). I found it to be a great vehicle to learn distance control and evasion without having to manage different range brackets + reloads + firing stance guns etc etc.
