A new patch has been distributed to adjust game balance and and apply bug fixes. Please apply the latest patch before playing the game.

Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
Player AC related fixes

Fixed a bug with Tank legs that caused shorter hit stun from stagger under specific circumstances
Fixed a bug with TETRAPOD “LAMMERGEIER/42F” where firing certain weapons upwards or downwards while hovering caused the player AC to remain at an angle for an extended period of time
Fixed a bug that caused ACs in hit stun to fall, instead of stop in place, when staggered while performing a mid-air boost kick
Fixed a bug that caused back weapons with manual reload to fire after manual reloading had completed
Fixed a bug that caused unintended animations and sounds to play when using Weapon Bay to repeatedly switch weapons
Improved certain attack animations that play under specific circumstances


Mission/enemy related fixes

Fixed a bug during the mission “Destroy the Drive Block” that caused the boss to use specific attacks at unintended times


System related fixes

Fixed a bug that prevented access to the AC DATA menu, or caused the game to crash when multiple data slots contained ACs with decal images using a large number of layers
Fixed a bug in the IMAGE EDIT menu and DECAL menu, where fully tilting the stick to move a piece or image did not move the element at a consistent rate
Fixed a bug in Photo Mode that caused a blur effect on the player AC even when Blur Type was “OFF”
Fixed a bug in Photo Mode that made player AC booster effects disappear
Fixed a bug in Ranked Match that caused results from the previous match to display after a disconnection
Fixed a bug with AC data uploaded to the game server, where if the data was loaded and then deleted from the game server, the loaded data would be reverted to default paint and decals
Fixed a bug with image data uploaded to the game server, where if the data was set as pilot emblem and then deleted from the game server, the emblem would become invalid

Fixed a title screen rendering issue that occurred at specific screen resolutions

Honestly it feels like Viento's not nerfed quite enough stuff. 2x of them still causes a very instant easy stagger.

Anyway, improvements across the board are welcomed.

TRASH UPDATE

Stop making the game slower and slower, for ♥♥♥♥ sake. It's like they wanted to trick people into buying the game by making it closer to AC4a in terms of speed, then slowly patch it to be slower and slower so that it ends up as slow and boring as ACV and ACVD, you know, the two games that killed the series for like a decade.

Seriously clown ♥♥♥♥. First the speed nerfs. Then the assault boost booster nerf. Now reload speed nerfs. Honestly, they are just going to kill this series again.

The game's fast enough for my slow ass reactions as a 30+ year old :Dogeface:

It's welcomed by me, it's still a very fast paced game ha.

Only nerf I'm seeing to reload speed is Viento. Tbh its needed as you cannot buff the duckette and its comically larger counterpart to compete or outperform an already extremely powerful gun so this thing had to be nerfed in some regard.

I do wish however, that most changes due to PVP should stay in PVP and not affect PVE that much. Some changes are for the better (Zimmermans was beyond broken and it would not encourage players to try something else when they struggle) but the nerfs that slowed the game in certain aspects like AB kick and AB in general doesn't feel the best.

Lambergeier tho, while I honestly don't care much for anything other than bipeds, I hopw they don't nerf its speed into the ground and just have it be slightly faster than its other counterparts.

To be fair gen 5 is faster than this game if you know what you are doing. Hell AC6 is already one of the slowest in the series without speed nerfs. The only reason why people thought AC6 was faster than previous gens was because it has a low skill floor with the cool looking movement you can do but has a very low skill ceiling.

And really the only generation slower than gen 6 is gen 1. All other gens in this series is actually faster if you can master their movement, it's just that gens 2-5 are a lot harder to actually master. But when it comes to gen 5 most people hate it so they don't bother to learn the more in depth movement you can do in the games. Gens 2 and 3 if you can master their movement you can get insane speeds even with tank legs. And gen 4 is gen 4.

As for this game, what you see is what you get. There is no real movement options other than what the game teaches you. While gens 2-5 have a lot you can learn to reach those top speeds and have very interesting movement options once you master the mechanics of the games.

What an eclectic selection of changes.

Wonder if the Stun Baton will be worth using now...I doubt any buffs will help the Therapist though.

Also really weird that they added a bunch of Jump Height to things, but I'm not complaining, anything to make getting off the ground easier.
