Given the kiting builds in PvP it's pretty important to not go too overboard on the weight if you can help it just so you can catch up to them and melt their faces off.
Maybe in PvP; may have watched someone using the new AC, those new handheld launchers, and some old plasma missiles to play 'the floor is lava' on Strider while blasting Freebird, and I'm still amused by it.
...hear that? It's note-taking noises. May come down to playstyle preferences. Me, I just ran this comparison of the new cannons to the 'Sawas and the Oscillators in the testing area...y'know, in a non-combat scenario using some of the heaviest-hitting weapons like a wimp. Charged-wise they're not comparable, but in comparison charge faster than both options while being more front-loaded than the Oscillators. And while the 'Sawas have a (way) better fire rate that don't mean horse turds when they're also stupidly heavy.
they're still being done dirty, the 'Sawas...
Indeed. I audibly yelled WTF when I first charged and fired them lmfao
If they notice and press the button they can get it charging up still even while they're mini staggered from the kick, but really I find that charging isn't the way to go with the new cannons anyway, rather just shoot the enemy when they go in for the kick instead.
