Armored Core VI Patch 1.05 Supposedly adding new gear

I'm seeing posts about an upcoming patch 1.05 update that adds new parts, but I can't find the link people are sharing. It's just going to a site that's saying "thank you for scanning your QR code, when there are updates we will notify you." (paraphrased)

Anyway, can anyone confirm? I found a video but nothing else, and it's not official Bandai so I am being patiently optimistic

I saw it. It had screen shots and patch notes, but it was for an unreleased patch, and it got taken down.

Somebody posted the pdf of the update in another thread talking about 1.05. It looks pretty official to me, and the fact that they took it down makes me think it was some type of leak. I believe its legit, but we'll just have to see. It would take a CRAZYYY amount of work to fake a pdf like that, and why would somebody put all that effort for a fake update that you cant even view anymore.

Are you new to the internet? People have been faking "official" looking presentation materials supposedly showing a new game or new content for an existing game (usually content disagreeable to the player base like rmt ideas to get them riled up) for years and it's even easier now that AI image generation has become so common place.

A linked downloadable PDF can be proven to be real/fake in the file forensics. For now, assume it's fake until more evidence comes out.

Lawd have mercy new schneider parts and shoulder gats. And its a bit strange that new content will, if I'm going off of how this is looking (if it is even legit in the first place), will be coming in batches every now and then. Probably as filler before a major expansion.

EDIT: but putting 2 and 2 together, it sin't hard to believe that people would leak future content for the game.

The one thing that makes me doubt its veracity is the error on it, where all the weapons are described as L/R Hand weapons in their info even though the header above says that some, like the gatling, are back weapons. But then again it's also not unheard of for there to be errors in promo stuff, especially if it wasn't yet greenlit for release.

Honestly, the errors are what make it feel more legit to me. For something that isn't done, it's obvious those were just copy-pasted in and they hadn't gone through setting the details on everything.

It's false until proven true by an official announcement. Hell, this might not even be a patch, but something akin to DLC. Maybe we are seeing a snippet. Though, it makes sense that future press leaked the image, since Fromsoft has been incredibly secretive with their latest releases!

All that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if Fromsoft did patch in a third tetra setup, mainly because it's the only leg type with less than 3 options at minimum and both of them are fairly heavy.

If it's a fake it is at least a logical one to make.

If it ends up being real, what I am hoping is that this is a test run for FROM to add parts into the game via an update. If successful, we should be getting more parts down the road, and with all of the mech artists FROM is looking for we should get a nice variety in the looks department of parts.

There ya go, it was real. People make things up all the time but they don't go through THAT much effort for a game as niche as AC6.
