NIGHTFALL / Raven - Fight tips / setup guide?

Haven't played in like a month, one mission later I'm at the Raven fight.

Any setup tips? Running gatling / plasma or gatling / songbirds & having trouble.

I would go light/medium weight with speed from ~290 - 330, ransetsu RF and x10 missiles and/or plasma missiles and just circle strafe and kite him.

N. Raven's most dangerous weapon is the pile bunker and songbird, so just keep your distance and kite him.

Double zims and pilebunker can beat anything with zero effort.

Alternatively, double miniguns, hold down triggers, wait for credits to play.

Fight him with similar setup, you will learn a lot from him.
If not, even a medium range setup like laser handgun can kite him to death. His AC is very basic afterall.

Double zims and pilebunker - are these later game unlocks?

Not sure when you have them i went through the game for all the ending so i looked it up anyways and according to google the zimmermans should be in the shop after oceans crossing. I think you cleared that already to make it this far though. And the pile bunker is supposed to be unlocked after chapter 1

I don't remember having any issues with him. Last time my 2x laser handgun + 2x laser cannons melted him.

You might want to try the pseudo-universal cheese (tank, 2x miniguns, 2x stun needles) if you find yourself cornered

By the time you meet Nightfall you have unlocked both. I beat him (S-ranked first try after) with laser lance and a zimmerman

Surprised this fight is an issue, it's just an AC running substandard parts. Think you should just get some practice in as the rustyness is what's giving you trouble. Doesn't require anything special to beat aside from not getting staggered close to it or you'll get bunked into oblivion. I've noticed gattlings struggle with moving targets with how much recoil compensation they need punishing fire arm specialization so that could also be an issue. Don't seem well suited to fighting AC's if bullying people using them in pvp is anything to go by.
